Nala
Natural Movement and Lifestyle coach.
Yoga Teacher. Nutritionist.
With an expansive background in movement and performing arts, Nala began her movement practice over 20 years ago, initially falling in love with movement that allowed her to enter a meditative state. What felt great in the physical form, became the gateway for a deeper emotional and spiritual practice.
Her journey as a student and as a teacher has evolved throughout the years as she has weaved in learned disciplines from yoga, parkour, dance, breathwork, rehabilitation, nutrition and strength/conditioning. Nala seeks to address the principles that lie in moving efficiently and gracefully across various movement disciplines whilst practising a nutrient-rich lifestyle.
“It is not just the physical practice of movement that creates a healthy mind and body. It is a collective of natural lifestyle habits, choices and actions that shape the best version of yourself. It’s my mission to help guide these changes so you can learn what you need to thrive in life.”
Nala currently runs workshops and remotely coaches an international client base including stunt performers, actors and athletes from her home in East Sussex. She has been featured in many publications for her work including Psychologies magazine and Women’s Health and has partnered with Vivobarefoot and Blue Diamond on projects.
Martin Petrus
Breathwork, Meditation
& Yoga Teacher
After meeting Wim Hof, Martin was inspired to learn more about the benefits of breathing patterns to manage both mental and emotional states.
He has extended this learning to incorporate respiratory physiology, as developed by Patrick McKeown, the founder of Oxygen Advantage.
Using Integrative Breathwork, Martin continually researches how people can benefit from both a scientific and spiritual approach.
Martin runs regular workshops where he focuses on mindset training using breathwork and cold exposure. He also coaches athletes with modern hypoxic training methods and traditional Pranayama techniques.

Suryalila
The property sits on 50 acres of land and is still a working olive farm with 800 olive trees. We also grow organic vegetables and fruits and keep chickens for eggs.
Suryalila is nestled serenely in a large open valley in the foothills of the Sierra de Grazalema. This majestic mountain range can be seen looming large on the horizon behind Suryalila. A striking part of the natural beauty of the property is the breathtaking vista extending in all directions: rolling hills, fields of sunflowers, and lakes. The sense of vastness and expansiveness is very uplifting.

The houses on the property are all artfully and tastefully furnished and decorated with careful attention to detail. Every room is uniquely beautiful with impeccable Feng Shui.
Suryalila has three Yoga halls. The Om Dome has been dubbed the most magnificent Yoga Hall in Europe. The sacred geometry creates a cathedral-like space, which is awe-inspiring. The Dome overlooks rolling hills, olive groves and a ruined convent. Inside, the Dome boasts underfloor heating and cooling and two long walls for practicing inversions.
Ganesha Yoga Shala has a gorgeous wooden ceiling as well as a wooden floor and is filled with light from windows on both walls as well as a skylight.
The Moon Shala is a wonderful sustainable cob structure. This inspiring eco building is located in our olive grove with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
